What do sessions look like?

An initial assessment will take place to meet you and your child and determine strengths, interests, and goals areas. Treatment sessions will then be individualized to meet the specific goals that are set.  Sessions are play-based and parent participation is encouraged. A portion of each session will be dedicated to discussing progress, home practice, and suggestions.

Where do appointments take place?

Appointments can take place in your home, at our home-therapy office, or virtually by means of an online platform. Covid 19 precautions will be in place for home visits. A travel fee will apply for visits outside of Sherwood Park.

What is the frequency of sessions?

​

The frequency of sessions will vary for each child according to their specific needs. Sessions may take place twice a week, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The frequency will be determined upon completion of assessment and discussion of goals.
